The Wet Poets Society website was inspired by the Dreams
and Rituals in Healing Waters seminar held each summer
in Bad Sulza, Germany (see liquid-sound above). We attended
in 2001 and experienced a night of dreaming while floating.
'Water is to the body as dreams are to the soul', says
organizer and Jungian psychotherapist Prof. Jonathan Paul
De Vierville.
http://www.continuummovement.com
This unique form of movement education developed by dancer
Emilie Conrad shows us how to live more fluidly on land.
She points out that having being structured by billions
of years of life forms that were shaped by the sea, our
oceanic origins exist in our fluid and cellular systems.
Our body communicates its intelligence through movements
that spiral, arc, curve and undulate. A delicious way
to live!
http://www.artashealing.org
- this site celebrates new ways of
healing and making art that bring together the fields of
art and medicine, joining artists and healers in a
common cause.
http://www.freezeframer.com
- research by the Institute
of HeartMath shows that harmonious heart rhythms can
entrain brain patterns and produce coherence between individuals.
This freeze-framer software measures degree entrainment.
We are using it to demonstrate that in water, awareness
of subtle body vibrations is enhanced and a healthier
resonance achieved.
