Imagine yourself floating
in body-temperature water, eyes closed, ears immersed and skin
lapped in warmth. You are aware of a gently supportive
presence that follows and facilitates your own body's
tendencies to movement or stillness. Noticing your breath
moving with your body, you sink into deeper and deeper
levels of awareness. Emotions bubble to the surface and
release as tears, laughter or silence. After a while, you realize
that there are no boundaries between you and the water, between
you and other, between you and the universe. You are free to
follow whatever creative impulse might arise on this water
journey.
